LF information on a Nissan NA MX-5 convertible model

Recommended Posts

Sure is and apparently the original versions were Australia Exports.

Tamiya has a kit in 1/24 Andrew. That's from the early 1990's and is a first gen Mx-5.

Hope this helps.

Australian Exports????? Um, as far as I know, MX-5 Miatas have always been built at the Mazda plant in Hiroshima.

Contemporary to their introduction in the very late 80's, there was a small, Front wheel drive 2 seat convertible, I seem to recall sold under the name "Capri" that I think had Aussie origins, but not the Miata.

Not sure how Nissan found it's way into this mix at all.
