Wayne S
Wayne, you and Aaron must be pretty happy... the thread for this GB that says what everyone is building has almost 700 views! I am a very easy person to please. Frankly, what makes me happy is watching others enjoy themselves with the group-build David, thanks... this will all be Krylon spray bomb... so I don't think that will be a problem... thank you thoughHere is some photo proof... man color helps my motivation! That is a good bite out of the project now, Krylon acrylic?
Remington Box
Wayne, I have no idea if it is acrylic... I'll have to do some research Anyway, yaller is on! I think I am about 67.5352% done... Red tonight, blue tomorrow and then decal hell Edited February 25, 2010 by Remington Box
Flyboyf18
OK that is one neat looking chopper, the 1:1 version and yours! Those decals appear to be in different scales, am I right on that observation?
Remington Box
No actually the decals are all for this bird... I just made extras of them in case I screw something over royally.
Anthony in NZ
Now thats looking great! I am really enjoying watching this come together. The end is in sight now. Looks like you got good coverage on the yellow, as that is a tough colour to spray. Looking forward to seeing those decals on! Cheers Anthony

I will have to check it out. If the white goes on that good, might give it a try. I never got M/M gloss white to dry fast.
Aaronw
I'm pretty sure Krylon is an enamel, but it is a fast drying and very forgiving spray paint. I've painted several models where I was sure I went on too heavy, but it turned out fine.
Remington Box
... and it cracks if you put too much on... I am speaking from experience with the red. Not a huge setback... just some sanding and we will have another go at it. Pictures tomorrow when all is well

I am happier than a fat kid with a full ride scholarship to a cupcake camp haha Actually, this is pretty dang good for having to mask 4 colors I would say I got the masking about 90% correct... a few touchups, some clear, a few decals... this puppy is in the bag! Also, Neo, you have a PM. Edited February 27, 2010 by Remington Box

pkrasna
Nice! Four colored masterpiece. Can't wait to se the decals on. Primož
Remington Box
Theoretically the decals are on... just someone was a jack*** and decided that clear could go on over the windows... that is not true... Now I am going to have to model it on a snowy tarmac so the clear on the windows looks like frost... I am on a trip now, but I will have pictures soon. Anthony in NZ
Remmington, if you like I have a spare set of transparencies for you if you want them. Sling me an email if you do mate and they are yours. Cheers Anthony

hooknladderno1
Remington, Have you been kidnapped? Impatient people(me) want to see how things are coming. I understand that the glass is coming from Oz, so there may be some delay. Just acting like my 8 year old son - I wanna see, I wanna see... David
