phantom
I think that one would be a given. They re did the Prowler enough times. EA-6B was just brought out again. Unless someone lost the mold to the Intruder I can not NOT see it happen within the next couple years.

toadwbg
If Kinetick can just improve over the Monogram kit by having finely recessed panel lines, they would have a real winner.
MoFo
100%. It's just a question of when. (last done a few years ago, IIRC, I'd say it'll be re-popped within 2 - 5 years)
Jay Chladek
I haven't seen the A-6E repoped at all. The EA-6B came from Stevens and the EA-6A was issued late last year from Revell. As such, I would say it is only a matter of time before the A-6E comes out again. I've got one of the original Revell A-6Es in my stash to build as an original configuration E model (it has the option to do it as a TRAM or non-TRAM version), but a TRAM would be nice to do as well and for that I would need a second kit. Checking the listings though, it isn't on the list for the spring/summer releases. As such if it does come back out, I wouldn't expect it until maybe fall at the earliest. Now wouldn't it be neat if Revell were to stick the EA-6A wings in and issue the kit as an A-6A? Granted there might be more to it then that, but that would be one different variant they could do rather easily and there are plenty of colorful decal schemes for such a version of the jet. THX1138
But what we all really want is for Hasegawa and/or Trumpeter to come out with their range of A-6's in both 48th and 32nd. We need to have dreams.
Jay Chladek
Considering what Hasegawa and Trumpeter kits are going for these days, I am not entirely certain I want EITHER company to do an A-6 variant in 1/48 scale. These new kit prices have helped me to learn to love raised panel lines all over again when a Revell repop is barely cracking $30.

You said it Jay! 30 bucks for a kit, spend about 10 bucks on a pinvise, a few sewing needles and some dymo tape....you're in good shape!
jbrundt
The EA-6B came from Stevens Partially true....Stevens will commission R/M (actually Hobbico) to do a limited run for them. Hobbico now owns the molds since they own R/M. A few years ago Stevens had them do a limited run on the Apollo 1/32 CM. You can bet that Hobbico will re-pop all the R/M molds they have in their possesion. It's just a matter of time. be patient......... Jeff
