Winnie
While waiting for the paint to dry and getting up the courage for some touch ups on the orange, I started an old HUey, the enerable Esci kit, that I may have gotten from the Canadian mafia at one time or another. Markings from BB, the red and white with blue trim. Cheers H.
phantom
Neat, I'm going to do that one as well. I know mine's a mafia machine, got it from Dong. Just do not know if I'll get it done for THIS group build or not.
Aaronw
Maybe this will inspire me to finish off the red and yellow CH-118 I started a few years ago.
Remington Box
Oh wow... that is a nice looking chopper. Do the Canadians re-assign numbers to all the aircraft in service?
Winnie
To answer you question, yes, Canadian Armed Forces reassign new numbers to each airframe, to make everything "jive". This started with the unification of the Canadian Forces. so the Labs were the CH-113, Sea Kings CH-124, HUeys CH-118, Twin Hueys CH135 and so on, no real meaning, other than making them "canadian" numbers. THe CH-118 is now finished, took the whole of THREE days to create, and I'll post a piccy soon. it was actually at the Heritagecon show, but did not place. Cheers H.
