sadchevy
Very nice work on your BIG cat!!! A suggestion for your instrument panel ..........since the panel is large , you could take a photo into photoshop or some other image software and resize it .....then cut and glue the gauge faces to your instrument panel. With this method your faces would be crisp and clear. Just a suggestion that has worked for a few RC planes I've built. Keep up the awesome work !!!
mareku
THX sagchevy! Your sugestion is great. The only think is that I did just that what you sugested

HOLMES
quote name='mareku' date='Oct 29 2010, 07:33 AM' post='2082977'] Thank you Holmes my friend for remember me In fact I do not think that I do so well. I do not have the abylyty to do models any more. It is not fun if I do not enjoi it so Be well for now. See you somewer else. Mareku, WE all have different abilities and cannot be expected to be PERFECT THE FIRST TIME you build something that makes you want to give up.{ you should see MINE..well the Eagle that I made..not exactly the bees knees you know !} The cockpit is JUST FINE as is ALL your other work on this TOMCAT. There is sometimes a tendency to think that you are not good becasue you see someone esle whose work is , or seems better but you know that cannot be the reason for you to stop. To think you are not good is not true BECASUE YOU ARE GOOD. DO NOT STOP modeling... you must not give this hobby because you feel that your ability is less than someone else's. Inspiration in modeling comes from others and I think you must not give in to that thought and carry on ..if you dont want to touch the models for a while because you lost your appetite then have a break and then come back to you BUT DONT GIVE THIS up now that you have gotten this far...PLEASE... HOLMES {praying that you will finish this !}
mareku
Thank you Holms and Greg for inkariagement. I sudenly startet to hate everythings I was doing. I do have that kind of things specialy in the and of the year, when there is darknes comeing to Finland and could too. Some 15 years ago I had brein tumor removed from my hed and after thad I do have problems with myself and the world around me. It was the time when I stoped modeling in the first place becourse of my hadaiks. Now I´m 58 and I thout that I can start to make models again, becouse my hed was beter doing. I think that I love modeling so much that I can not leave without it, but I must take it as it is, with al the bed days too. I´m sorry that I write so private things here but I do consider you as a friends so I thout You must know the truth. :D
GreyGhost
Ah, I see Marek, Well, you've survived something very traumatic and painful ... I understand if you feel you must step away for some refreshment to your mind and body ... I really do hope you come back to your two Marvelous builds when you're ready, it's not a race after all ... -Gregg
HOLMES
Mareku, It can be hard and will be hard for you after such a traumatic surgery and will take a long time to get to your happy self but you will get there. so Just realx and watch the others' build and come back to it when you feel happier and WE are not all experts...expecting every specification to be just so unless you want to build a model that way... WE all have diffeent kinds of style, work ethics, detailed, non detailed, fun build, OOB ,Not OOB , etc... this and that..Forget all that.. do what you want wth your models that makes YOU HAPPY.... Take care :) BEST WIHSES... HOLMES
JohnS
Hi Marek. Although your news is concerning, I appreciate you being able to share your current health status with us. I can only echo what both Gregg and Holmes have already said. I always looked forward to your updates, and have used your modelling skills as an example of what I wanted to accomplish when building my own models. Hopefully you will feel better soon, and you will be able to again share your model building experiences with us in the future. Take care of yourself. John
