The Dreaded DML 6022 Panzer IV Ausf J

Okay, this will likely be the last update before I finish the thing once and for all.

I won’t bore anyone with commentary about what has been done this time and just let the pictures do the talking.

Now the fun part, I get to dirty it up!

Dave this is looking splendid. Its refreshing to see an armor model getting the superdetail treatment without the builder going into pedantic overdrive, and trying to replace things like bolts, because they have too many sides or some such. You know the kinds of AFV divas I'm talking about :)

I agree. You've done some very impressive work that seems both well worth it, and not overdone. These earlier kits can still be made into nice models with some effort, I think. Recently I dug out an old DML Panzer III G--I was looking for something else entirely--and I guiltily eyed the built-and-mostly-painted model neglected in the box. Your build here is very inspiring to get that old kit done.
