Chris707
While snooping about in Google Earth looking for the NC-130A and F-4Ds dumped at Pierce Field on the Eglin reservation, I came across another auxiliary field with some interesting old fighters in the weeds. The one looks to me like an F-101, and there's *maybe* an F-100 nearby. But what really struck me were a couple of others - now, I'm *sure* that these are Phantoms or something else, but at first glance, they kind of looked like F3Hs! I'm certain that's a trick of the light and my aging eyes: http://www.dataviewbooks.com/wordpressblog...uxiliary-field/ Chris
richter111
I don't know if it is still there, but just off the road heading out to the ranger camp, there was a derelict F-100 sitting on its belly just off the road behind an old berm. A friend and I found it one day when we were looking for a place to practice shooting our bows and arrows.
Chris707
I came across some different aerial imagery of the same site, and the "F3Hs" are indeed Phantoms - the Google imagery just looked a little off to me.

richter111
Oh you can, as long as the range police don't catch you. Then you can say hi to the Federal Magistrate. Unless you have a $10 pass, except in unauthorized areas...
