There isn't much out there. There was an M16A1, shotgun, and handgun in the old AMT (maybe?) Police Car kit. The weapons out of the kit are actually for sale on eBay right now.

Maybe some other police car models have some too. Other than that, I don't know of any others.

I might just have to go with 1/35 then..There's so many more choices as I saw with a quick browse around yesterday. Thanks for the info though :worship:

Going back to the 1/35 stuff..do you know who makes 1/35 handguns? I've seen plenty of various rifles and machine guns..

Are you doing the End of Days campaign over at Armorama also? If not, go check it out. I think it starts in August.

There was a guy over there a while back talking about putting out some resin 1/24 firearms. I'll check and see if I can find him.

Just looked it up...looks like an awesome idea  I'll see what I can do... I'm not a huge fan if the whole idea of people taking military armored vehicles and using those in a zombie group build. It'd be cooler and more logical to see what people can do with regular road cars and trucks. Ah well.. Are you doing that campaign?

I was thinking that you could do a 1/24 build for the campaign. Check, but I doubt anyone would have a problem with it.

I am getting in on it. I am thinking of making an M60 bridge layer without the bridge. Rig up some chain link fence around the deck (to keep out zombies) with flame throwers fore and aft. I figure in the case of zombie attack a place to go would be the national guard armory, my folks will find a topless m60 bridgelayer and deck it out for zombie fighting.

I have an M60A2 that I've been looking for something to do with. Figured this would work out fairly nice.

Haha that's an awesome idea! I like it :)

I'd be all for doing a 1/24 build (a pickup or an SUV of some kind), but I can't find weapons like M4's and other rifles in that scale. Otherwise...I'm fine scratchbuilding add-on armor and other accessories to a car kit.

Any ideas?

Well, a rifle isn't going to do too much good on a zombie. In the End of Days thread it was pretty much agreed on that flame throwers were best (although I'm including a couple RPG's in my build for clearing lanes).

Look up propane flame thrower in google image. Those look pretty easy to scratch (also would be accessible for real). I think that my guys will swing by a 7-11 and steal 10 or so propane cylinders.

I've also taken a 1/35 .45 and put it on the seat of a 1/25 car and passed it off as one of those small .380s. Or if you put it in a nylon holster, you won't need any detail other than the handle.

Here are a couple 1/25 zombie trucks over on armorama. I like the second one best since it's good for an extended outing (fuel, food stores in the back).
