toadwbg
Finnally got to visit this great store. Just heard on these forums they will be closing therir doors for good I was in town for my niece's birthday and decided to sneak out to visit Big Bear before they were gone fir good. They had some fantastic markdowns on kits- 50% off 1/32 Tamiya and Trumpeter kits! I had a hard time resisting! I wound up going home with a few books and Polyscale paint. I didn't get much time to hang around and chat ( well, maybe an hour). But they seemed like really nice folk. It's a shame they will soon be gone <_<
John Krukowski
Luckily for me, I've been building up a miniature version of that store in my basement for the last 25 years so if they do close, I'll just have to start building kits instead. Glad you made it over there! John
Recon
I was there last weekend. It will not be the same after the store closes. I have been going there for around 40 years. I am planning to go back one more time next Saturday. Mike
