4scourge7
Okay, I`ll play. I`ve been meaning to do a flight of three Hurricanes of 43 Squadron (Fighting ######) based at Tangmere for a while now. Maybe this is the incentive to do it, all in glorious 72nd scale. http://www.raf.mod.uk/bob1940/29to46.html Cheers and have a good one everybody :) Ian PS- my build seems to have fallen `foul` of the naughty-boy filter. Okay, imagine a male hen, our Brit contingent will know what I mean. Edited April 1, 2010 by Ian Buick

kg4kpg
Withdrawn. I'm pulling ouot of this one. This Monogram kit just needs more work than I have time for. Y'all have a great GB. Edited April 9, 2010 by kg4kpg
The Mikester
I would like to join but I have to look to see which one of three I can enter. I have a Spit Mk. II, a Ju-88 and a Bf-109 but for the life of me I can't remember which version of the second two. I'l edit the post with my choice later. **I'm not a Ju-88 expert, which version is eligible or does it matter? **Info I found says A-1.Chris I think your info is correct, the Ju 88A-1 would be the right variant for the BoB. johnsan
In with a couple of Emils. Markings to be determined later.
Rampage55
I'm on board with a Hawker Hurricane Mk I P3886 UF-K 601 'County of London' Squadron, Tangmere, Aug 1940. This is one of the Hurricanes flown by Flying Officer Carl Raymond Davis during the BoB. An American pilot with over 10 kills who was KIA over Kent on the 6th of Sept. 1940... is it windy yet?
I was thinking of choosing one or two from the following kits; 1:32 Eduard Bf-109E-1 Yellow 11 from JG 26 Sold 1:48 Tamiya Spitfire Mk 1 1:48 Tamiya Bf-109E-3 and or E-4 1:48 Hasegawa Hurricane Mk 1 and the real long shot kit 1:48 Airfix Spitfire Mk1 (I really wanted to build this one as an early Mk 1) Edited June 9, 2010 by is it windy yet? I'm thinking of buying that one to build it as a Belgian. BTW,if you don't use the Belgian decals and you can spare them please let me know . Matt
I'm in, found some old AeroMaster decals at the bottom of my decal bin whilst looking for some other markings. Spitfire Mk II P7531 / L.Z I / 421 Flight Using Tamiya 1/48th Mk I as a base. Cheers, Matt

old_Tonto
I'm in with this kit that I found at the back of the deep stash. As you can see it has seen better days and I can't be sure if all the parts are there but I will give it a go. The glazing appears to be all there but is a little thick. Not sure what the markings will be as the kit decals are mouldy! Is the H-20 the correct version for the BoB? I will see how I get on with this one and may add a couple of others depending on time. OK change of plan. It would seem that a hell of a lot of work is involved in converting this model into the correct version so I am canning that plan. I am still in the build though, just need to find something else to work on. Edited April 11, 2010 by old_Tonto

Isaac
I will enter with a Hasegawa Hurricane.
crazydon
Hey, I just finished my stuff from the 1st BoBGB :P I might try and tag a Emil into the mix, we'll see. I've got a couple planned but the 1 reason I ain't sure if I'll be able to is the 1 Emil will be the new Airfix 1/48th (doing a comparision build against a Tamiya) and the kit ain't out yet. I'll check my stash too, see if I can give a kit as a prize.....

mgrandison
I'm in with a 1/48 Tamiya Bf 109 E-3. I haven't decided on the markings yet. If I have enough time, I'll also try to finish a 1/48 Monogram He 111 or a 1/48 Hasegawa Bf 109 E-4.
ALF18
I will build the classic Airfix 1/24 Spitfire Mk 1A. I first built the kit in 1974; this one will be like revisiting an old friend! ALF
jugjunkie
This could not have come at a better time. I'm just finishing up over at the "Big Jugs" GB and I've been fondeling Eduards 1/48th ME110 C, so I guess i'm in with that one. Geoff
