Flankerman
Great???? It's FANTASIC. You have made a superb job of the Fairey Barracuda - it looks much bigger and better detailed than 1:72 scale. Which kit is it ???? Ken
Grey Beema
Great model Max. I like the Sea Hornet and Firefly as well. I think what I like about it is that the weathering is subtle. I know that post war aeroplanes had a better maintained finish BUT and I am probably going to speak a heracy, I do think there is a tendancy to over weather models. I agree with you Grey - brilliant model(s) Max! I also agree with you Grey about overweathering (I've even been a wee-bit guilty of it myself sometimes). For some modellers, it almost seems like it's a stylistic, artistic choice, rather than an effort to make the model look more realistic. I've also seen some otherwise well-done models that look like they have a scale 1-inch gap between the panels, they're so over-emphasised! Regards, Learstang
MexMarine
It looks great, and it's a very interesting airplane. Congratulations! JL
Kevan Vogler
Stunning! I concur with the others regarding the subtle weathering. Sometimes less really is more.
