Thought I'd post some pics of this build over here. It is in the gallery section, but those pics are tiny. This is the ancient Revell kit, modified extensively. Most of the mods are scratch built (including the entire cockpit and camera bay with cameras), but a very noteworthy aftermarket addition is the MC-One Exhaust set. It's still one of my favorite builds (despite many errors), since I'm guessing it's the only 1/32 Mirage III R2Z out there with all the required mods, such as swept intake splitter plates, that are unique to this type. Incidentally, the R2Z is basically a Mirage IIIR with a more powerful Mirage F1 engine.

Well, indeed, I really like your Mirage! looks superb, and building this kit is real modelling, not just glueing together some plastik parts! ;-)

Awesome work Marcel, and a highly original and (probably) unique build of this model. I've got one in the stash too, though mine will be an RAAF bird using the Fisher cockpit set. Yours is one of the nicest builds of that old Revell kit I've seen.

Hi Marcel! One more masterpiece from your bench!

Great paintwork on the metal surfaces, those drop tanks look fantastic, they really caught my eye!:woo:

Cheers and happy modeling!

Alexander.
