I think we'll see a 1/48 t-45 announced some time this year. The TF-9J will have to be from Collect aire. Edited April 9, 2010 by pookie

Emvar
Have you looked at the box for the new Moebius Viper Mk II? Nope.... Not enough shekels to purchase the kit.

The TF-9J will have to be from Collect aire. Oh Hobbycraft/Trumpeter if they ever get around to producing more variants from their new F9F series. Unless someone else has the foresight to realize that we really need a good Cougar series. 40's/50's jets are a seriously overlooked market segment. We've got a few Panthers and F-86F Sabres, a couple of decent straight wing F-84's, and finally a couple of FJ-4 Fury kits. But no Phantoms, Banshees, Cougars, new F-80/T-33 Shooting Stars, FJ-2/3, F-86A/E Sabres, and so on. Trainers in general are a seriously overlooked market segment. The T-28 served for at least 30 years in 27 different countries, training God knows how many aviators. And the Monogram kit from 1956 is the only one available? Seriously? Hopefully you didn't read that as if I was angry/arguing or something with you. That's not how that was intended. I apologize if it came across that way.
Matt Roberts
It's kinda funny trying to come up with a new kit that is commercially attractive and viable in all those categories. For my 3 votes.... 48th F-86A/E 48th F-80/T-33 series 48th Do-17 series 350th ship USS Enterprise CV-6 - you could do what probably 3-4 boxings of the differant periods But it is funny I had a 'ell of a time trying to think of what else to do that a mainstream mfg could think of that is not yet announced or thought of. Considering all of the wild rumours I have heard of future Trumpeter releases (48th Sunderland?) almost anything is possible (Paper Panzers seem to be a fertile ground right now). Funny for a rumourmonger I have a hard time trying to come up with something in all of those catagories

rightwinger26
I agree with the B-17 stuff, just maybe add a 1/48th C or D model in there. I'd also like to see a 1/48th BT-1, or a B-10 maybe. Also a Tamiya 1:350th Cleveland class cruiser
