petebuilt
Here's the old 1/35 Italeri kit #273 Commando (I think they meant Command) Hummer. I've attempted to turn it into a M996 two litter mini ambulance. Trakz weighted resin tires were also added onto kit wheels. Decals are some that Fireball Modelworks did for a UH-60A MEDEVAC model I did a while back. Otherwise it's pretty much OOB. Pete Brown The soldiers are Verlinden figures And here's a pic with it's 'big brother', the Academy M997 four litter maxi ambulance. HeavyArty
Great looking HMMWV. Is it going w/the Blackhawk MedEvac helo? Italeri actually labeled their M998 as a "Commando" HMMWV, but meant Command HMMWV since 4-door soft tops are usually commander and staff officer HMMWVs. Either way, yours came out great. petebuilt
Hey thanks Gino. Yea, I'm still debating about whether I want to put the mini n the UH-60 MEDEVAC dio or not. It may look better there than the M977. Not sure, we'll see. Pete
