dsmith
Hi guys, Not haveing any luck with either the grey or black Alclad II primers (I use Mr. Surfacer and MM laquer), I just tried their clear coat (honey), and I really like it. Here is my question. Have any of you used this as a clear coat over a non BMF (camo, etc) for decals? It sprays so nice, but I was wondering if it was compatible with other paints. I almost exclusively use MM enamels. Will it harm paint if you spray it on top? I tried a test and it seems to be okay, but I don't know about the long run. Thanks, -Doug
Aigore
Yup I agree...best clear coat out there. And to answer your question, I haven´t experienced any problems shooting it on top other colors as long as they have cured. I mostly use it as a clear coat on top of wich I shoot Alclad metal paints (the glossier the surface the neater the metal finish ) but I use all kinds of paints as primer everything from laquer and enamels to acrylics. Cheers!
