Hiya!

I'm working on an Angolan emb-312 Tucano converted from the Airfix 1/72 shorts tucano kit:

the first two mods needed were the removed of the canopy frame and the lengthening of the forward fuselage:

hiya!

the nose on the shorts Tucano is slightly different in shape than the embrear, though i think the airfix kit nose is a bit short anyway!

still working on getting the correct intake shape, though the length seems better:

Very nice so far. I'll be interested in seeing how you do the contouring to the nose.

I think everyone that gets this kit ends up doing it in something besides the box scheme because the kit is fine but the decals are incredibly awful.

One thing - this model is an incredible tail-sitter. Did you put in weights in the front?
