modelman11
Does anyone have plans to make a reverse side HTS pod in 1/72 scale? Would be real nice to hang sniper and hts on my block 50's.......
nightmare77
Id also like a few of these. DR PEPPER could have one done up and could even pair it with those new sniper XR pods in a nice set..... Easy to make, market and the sets would make it much easier to deal with.....
Jennings
A reverse sided HTS pod? Is that held in place with a reverse threaded 11/32 frammus nut? I must really be out of the loop. I have not the first clue what a reverse side HTS pod could be, nor what you would put it on. J
Andre
I must really be out of the loop. I have not the first clue what a reverse side HTS pod could be, nor what you would put it on. The HTS (or HARM Target Seeker) pod is used by F-16's in the SEAD role. Initially these were fitted on the right side intake hardpoint, which is what all kit examples (in my main scale, 1/72nd, the RoG F-16C and Hasegawa "CJ" and "Block 50" kits feature the HTS, although the Hasegawa is terribly undersized - but spot on for a Pave Penny as carried by the IDF/AF) contain. Later on, with the advent of the Sniper XR pod, this was carried on the right side intake hardpoint with the HTS moving to the left one, which necessitates modifying the kit pylon. Cheers, Andre
