Every time I try to work with a resin cockpit I always go through the floor. Why can't I seam to get it right or the manufactures who make them make the floor thick enough without it becoming a problem when we work on them? Is it just me?

I had a "Black Box" cockpit once (can't remember which one) years ago, and

the only way I could make everything fit was to sand the 'pit bottom so thin, it did

go through the floor, under where the seat goes. I quit using BB cockpits after

that one.

It's one of those trade-offs intrying to get the depth of the tub to scale while tying to provide a floor that will clear the parts underneath. I've seen a similar problem with resin wheel wells.
