Netz
No not really, they would have a standard cockpit, and the seat would be grey, but depending on the time frame, the later ones may have the Black parachute pack. Curt

Thanks
Netz
The seat should be grey,if you want the 2 tone look (grey seat, black parachute housing) then THIS picture should help. The seat on the stand in the background is black, but you'll want to paint it grey, but it clearly shows the seat pan and headrest separate form the parachute pack, the parachute pack goes behind the headrest, THIS little animation shows the parachute pack as located behind the headrest, also on either side of the seat are the canvas pouches that contain the parachute cords, this is also part of the parachute pack and can be painted black (or very dark black grey). You can also add black sheep skin seat covers too. This should cover you seat options. naturally I just found THIS picture, this is how you'll want to paint it if you desire a black seat. Now for the airframe mods.....Wolf Pack makes a nice set for the Netz, I wish they had them when I did mine, I scratched all my add-on's. 4 chaff Flair moduals (2 each long/short), GPS between the tacan antenna and flood light on the spine behind the canopy, communication antennas under the intake, and add the scab plates to the wings and fuselage. That's about everything, what kit are you starting with, and any aftermarket?? Curt Edited May 18, 2010 by Netz
signals
Netz Using the old Hase F-16 A/C kit. Using the CAM cockpit and burner can with Isradecals for the Dragon squadron along with the Wolfpack set for chaff/flare dispensers and metal pitot from Hobbydecal... have got the fuselage closed...and wings attached....waiting to sand off the putty in the seams....and dip the canopy in future...looking forward to doing that tonight
signals
I was wondering how dirty IAF aircraft in the 3 tone camo get...from the images I've looked at online...they seem pretty clean...would that be correct?
Andre
I was wondering how dirty IAF aircraft in the 3 tone camo get...from the images I've looked at online...they seem pretty clean...would that be correct? Yes. The IAF places a pretty high priority on maintenance. HTH, Andre

dsmith
Hi Curt, I want to build this same F-16A with the dragon the tail. Do know if it has the early or late Blk. 1-32 wheels? I can't tell from pictures. Cheers, -Doug
Netz
Do you have a picture?? Curt

dsmith
Thanks, That one is better. It is still kind of small, but it looks like the Early Blk. 1-32 wheels. That is what I thought they were, but the only picture I had was the one on the instruction sheet, and the angle isn't good. Cheers, -Doug

dsmith
Ah, I just didn't look hard enough. In the bigger picture it looks like the Late Blk. 1-32 wheels. It has many more perforations than the early type. Thank you! Cheers, -Doug ;)
