caiotfjr
at luckymodel's 7th anniversary sale:http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?depar...alog_no=LUCKYAI Notice a 1/32 Eurofighter Typhoon is cheaper than a VERY old tool 1/48 Hasegawa F-14A.. Oh, the old complaint about Hasegawa prices! Really, Hasegawa kits reboxed by Revell are also cheaper, like the 1/48th F4U-5 Corsair. Revell's 1/48th Eurofighter would cost an arm and a leg if done by Hase and would come without "Nato's Modern Weapon Set" in the box. Not only Hasegawa, but Hobby Boss Rafale is more expensive than Revell's despite being a copy. Regards Caio

LanceB
Darn good price on that Typhoon - they retail for 14,800 yen (about 160 USD) in Japan, whereas the F-14A is only 5,200 yen (About 57 USD). Even the UK price for the Typhoon is about twice what Lucky Model is asking.
pigsty
Ignoring Hasegawa for the moment ... bear in mind that Revell and Italeri kits sold at Luckymodel are abnormally expensive because they have to be sent there first, then sent back to you. The effect is even more marked if you're ordering them from Europe. Only when there's a sale on do they appear financially attractive.
Gundamhead
Can't really compare two different scales, and two different planes and complain about price. Same scale, same plane, different price is fair.
