Mr B Posted June 7, 2010 Share Posted June 7, 2010 Hi Folks On to my 2nd entry for trainer group build.............a 1/48 Belcher Bits Tutor.........made into a Tebuan of the Royal Malaysian Air Force Long way to go yet........... The nose profile and the blowers looks very nice indeed...........compared with the Hobbycraft kit Only 4 major sections...........and a host of small parts..........need some scratch building on the colums and etc...........(going to use the hobbycraft colums) Might be a gear up build....have not decided as at yet......... Strakes on Seat left side in progress.......including the canopy breakers Completed right seat in the airframe Side view exposing the seat rails........ Since this will be the Malaysian version, I had to scratchbuild the gunshights....................cockpit all painted up......... Mr B Posted July 21, 2010 Author Share Posted July 21, 2010 (edited) some updates........this is going at snail pace for me........ puttied 1st round and vacs cut to open canopy masked internally to get the internal work done underside needs some modification..........some ground prox equimpent as used on the malaysian version next flap hinges............6 of them....then onto internal work in the canopy............then gear, tanks but before that a rescribe on the shallow lines........... long term indeed hope its an interesting read ;) best mr b Edited July 21, 2010 by Mr B Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Cockpit flat coated and almost ready for masking....robbed a compass looking thingy for a F-4 panel Some panel lines rescribed and the nose light area done up............
