Looking for 1/72 dual weapon ejection rack for Rafale

Recommended Posts

As the header says, looking for the 1/72 dual weapon ejection rack as seen on this photo of the Rafale. I know that the old Hasegawa Jaguar kit has something similar, don't know if it is the right one or if this rack can be found elsewhere; in a kit or aftermarket?

Thanks

Jim,

I think that this is actually a triple rack - the AT730.

I'm not aware of any in 1/72nd, but a Swiss outfit named Skyraider Model Designs offer one in 1/48. Perhaps you can get enough information from that link or the one to the .PDF instructions to scratchbuild it.

Andre

I don't believe it's the AT730, look at this photo and you can see how far the third 'leg' hangs down and extends forward on a 730 , I would think you would see that in my first photo, could be wrong. Plus the rear part of the side legs on the 730 is much thicker then appears in the first photo.

Hy,

I mean it's an AUF-2 formerly used on Mirage 2000. The photo in this topic shows a prototype of the Rafale (B01).

You have some plans in the SMDS website (smds.ws).

Hope this can help you.

Do you happen to know if the AUF-2 is also used operationally, or was it used on the Rafale prototype only?

Cheers,

Andre
