Hi,

This is the first since I've rejoined the 1/48 club. Last time I switched it didn't last long, I think because I did subjects that didn't really intrest me. So now, I will be a little bit more selective. Super Hornets, Hawkeyes, prowlers, intruders, phantoms, maybe a tomcat, A-10's and that's it.

As first I took the hasegawa f/a-18f, with the kit decals, aires cockpit and a little diorama.

The dio was part of a larger LHD diorama(which I cut up), so it isn't correct for a Nimitz class carrier, but good enough for me.

Freaking beautiful job!!!!! :tease: Only one thing I see. The "100" on the right side tail is up side down. But other then that minor issue you have a excellent build there. :shoot:

Hi,

I hadn't even noticed. I guess that's a fault in the kit decals. They give you the option to paint the tips red and use a decal for the "100", or use the big red decal with the "100" in it. If had I noticed i would have used the other option.

Superb!!!!!!!!!

where did u get the pilots from?

and also will be nicer if the hornet had a ladder for the pilots to climb and be tied down to the deck!

Thanks, I know it would be nicer, but if I tie it down I wouldn't be able to put other aircraft on the deck.

I really like this! Very nicely done!

I am getting back into modelling after some time off and am toying with the idea of building the Hase Superbug as my first one back. Your model may have just inspired me to jump in with it.
