I upgraded to Win 7 a few months back from Win xp, and I have a VERY large folder called Windows.Old and it's 90gig!!! Do I need this file or can I put it in the circular file???

Thanks,

Jason, you can happily delete the OLD file without ill effects on Windows 7.

It is a copy of the Windows XP installation which is, for want of a better term, incompatible with win 7.

Win 7 is based on Vista architecture and Vista itself was a totally new O/s (with some boring exceptions) with little in common with Win XP.

SO delete away and enjoy your 90Gb of space freely!
