Thommo Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 (edited) I just made one of these. $A8 for the insect zapper from Ebay, $3 for the tea strainer from Coles. Works great....though I need to airbrush that bright green grass a little to tone it down. I can also confirm if you accidentally touch the tea strainer while the Go Button is pressed, you will get a kick like an electric fence (ask me how I know ). Patnab Posted August 1, 2017 Share Posted August 1, 2017 hi all, Oh yes it's a fantastic tool. I make one with interchangable tea strainer It work olnly with synthetic gras. I otain good résults with 8mm grass but with 3 layers. First one long grass 8mm : Second medium grass 6mm : Last layer with short grass 2mm will cover 100% of the ground (right side of the picture) Of course, i reciment to paint the ground in Brown before but for the test the plolystyren was un painted here a few other test : Quote Link to post Share on other sites
