Tripio
Hey LazThanks for the comments. If I'm looking at the same spot you are, the shiny part is just where I had glued the nose on, that's right where it butts up against the lower fuselage. For markings, I'm using Fightertowns Pukin' Dogs sheet, representing this jet: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v61/far1...hedogsout_1.jpg Hopefully it'll turn out nicely! Brett I know it will. ;) Good choice. Regards,Laz
Brett M
Updates as of 10 minutes ago  With flash... Without.... My first attempt with preshading as well, it's pretty light, but the paint scheme on this was pretty new from the pics I have, so not much weathering.

Jinxter13
Very, very nice, great work. I know what a PITA that kit can be. To get that kind of build, and result from it speaks volumes of your modeling skills :D .

Brett M
Here's a few more updates.....decals are on, gloss coat to seal them done. I started washing it with Promodellers Dark wash last night. Canopy is dull coated, so I pulled the tape off. Turned out pretty well. I dipped it 3-4 times in Future mixed with Tamiya smoke, hopefully you can notice it's tinted lol Fuel tank.....hard to tell the weathering in this pic, I'll take a better one later. I washed it out with light

Janissary
It's coming along very nicely Brett. Incidentally, I saw this aircraft just today at the Wings over Pittsburgh airshow. Here are some pics of it. Your build is really capturing the plane quite well. I have a number of other closeups if anyone is interested.
Brett M
Thanks buddy! The pics are great! Did they go to black on everything? The tail and nose look black to me on my monitor.
Brett M
More......overall is done. The canopy will be in the raised position when I'm finished. Pylons need to be finished and painted. Right now they're all just stuck there for pictures ;) Weapons are beginning to be assembled as well and all fuel tanks are done.
