Tamiya Bf-109 E-4 in 1:48-updated with photos

I have been building this one in the background of the other Tamiya build posted here, so not as many pictures of the assembly as they really were built the same. I will be trying to use the old Hasegawa kit decals from, way back. I hope they work, I' ve tested a few and they do seem to work. This one will have the white nose and tail, rather than the yellow, which is why I want to do it.

I am waiting for some parts from being kindly sent from Crazy Don Flynn, to replace the parts my five year old son decided that he needed to play with.

My photo bucket is working right at the moment so no pictures until later.

Nice work on the cockpit!...I like what you did with the weathering...

Is that a primer coat or worn metal underneath the chipped paint your depicting?

Well that is first time I have heard of Aluminium is rusting.

So must be blood stains from the pilot :woot.gif:

Looks like my house sold, so packing up the hobby shop in the basement. No new modeling for me until, we get into our new place toward the end of September.
