chuck540z3
Removing putty with acetone-based nail polish remover. I still have to sand but not nearly so much.Learned right here at ARC many moons ago! I have an even better idea, which I only found out about myself from a fellow ARC-er recently. Don't use nail polish remover, but Tamiya lacquer thinner instead. It works WAY better (especially with Tamiya putty) and it won't eat the plastic. Besides, having girly nail polish remover on the bench is just not right. Now my other recent discovery: A photo-etch parts bender, like the "Hold and Fold" at the link below. Folding tiny brass parts is now a breeze..... http://thesmallshop.com/index.php?main_pag...p;products_id=
