This was also the very first project where I used aftermarket decals (TwoBobs). In summary, the issues I encountered, as well as my own mistakes, while building are: - SEAM LINES! The worst areas were around radome and cockpit, and jet intake assembly, requiring lots of putty and sanding - Lost nose boom on the Arctic Flanker bird - replaced with needle - Lost pitot tube on the Arctic Flanker bird - Lost 2x Sidewinders for the Blue Flanker bird - replaced with spares from Hasegawa weapons set - Accidentally brushed a bit of Tamiya cement inside the Blue Flanker's canopy. Tried fixing using Tamiya Polishing Compound, but didn't work. I ended up spraying the canopy with mixture of Mr Metal Color Stainless + Tamiya Smoke (50:50), then finished with Tamiya Gloss Clear - Drop tanks have raised lines rather than engraved Some of the pics here are also found at the end of the WIP thread...
