ReccePhreak Posted August 8, 2010 Share Posted August 8, 2010 (edited) I contacted Don Van Hook on 10 January, to trade him a Moebius 1/128 Seaview he was looking for. We both agreed to the kits he was to send me. I mailed him the kit, and he emailed me on 12 Feb that he had received it. He claimed he had been to a funeral in South Carolina on 25/26 Jan, and hadn't had time to mail my kits. On 27 Feb I got an email from his "wife", saying "he's helping move his Mother into an assisted living home and will be home Tuesday afternoon". That was the last email I have ever received from him or his "wife". I emailed him again on 7 & 22 April, and 27 June, with NO RESPONSE!! He lives in Desert Hot Springs, CA. I understood his delay, after he said his Father died, and he had to help his Mother, but I lost both my Father and my Son last year, and I still managed to meet my commitments. Don't have any dealings with this lying scum! Larry P.S.
