The Loggie
G'Day Loki. Try looking in a model railway shop. Ask the train guys what scale is nearest to 48-scale. George, out............
mkimages
George has the right idea. You want to look for O-scale train accessories. Be aware though, that O-scale can refer to several different actual scales from 1/43 to 1/48. Check Wikipedia for more info on that. Also for some reason, and unfortunately, most of the O scale accessories are quite toy-like, lacking in detail and basic in shape. You would most likely have to considerably modify anything you'd find to have it look good in a diorama. Another option might be the old ESCI ground equipment set (also sold by AMT and is also included in a few of their aircraft kits). It has a fair-looking tow tractor included that could be modified into a farm-style tractor. Only pic I could find is some box art to show the style of tractor. It's not a bad little kit. Alonzo Fonzo
In the Italeri 1/48 Aircraft Support Set (Number 2629) is a tractor included. With a little Modification you can build a civil tractor out of it... Edit: Ups! just read mkimages post! The Italeri set is the one from Esci! MattC
Accurate Armour does a 1:48 David Brown tractor (in the guise of a WW2 airfield support vehicle) but it would be pretty easy to modify, the basics are all there, maybe just modify the front end to be more blunt and agricultural, and cut away the front mud guard portion. http://www.accurate-armour.com/ShowProduct...mp;product=1965
