Andre
My best guess would be a crappy copy of the Ace/Kangnam/Revell kit, knowing the Kitech brand. Cheers, Andre
dragan_mig31
I found it on ebay for some 3 us dolars so I was wondering wather to buy it or not.I am done with crappy kits that don't even resemble the real thing. If the shape and the look of it is ok I would like to buy it and rework it into a nice model. The thing is I just can't find the A-model yak on the internet. Flankerman
regards,Dragan Interesting how the ASIC Reporting name 'Forger' has been translated into 'Blacksmith' :D A Blacksmith is someone who works in a Forge - but a Forger is someone who creates countefeit money or documents. Just saying.... Ken
dragan_mig31
hhaha Ken you are correct. But still do you know anything about this kit?I found the amodel one for 13 euros wich i think it is very expencive when you include the postage and still you get a crappy kit that needs much work to complete. You're doomed.

You're doomed. I know.I searched the modelimex and there the shipping is a small fortune and I will never pay that amount of money for a short run model kit.I am now searching for the revell one. Matt Roberts
One thing to remember also if scale isn't important, Trumpeter/Hobbyboss is doing a trio of Forgers in 48th probably next year, a sprue shot popped up (not complete sprues - just one) earlier this summer. Matt Haneto posted pics of the built up resin test shot in this thread http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index....p;#entry1783405 And post #440 in this thread (page 22) for a pic of the sprue that Song released earlier this summer http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.p...1270&st=
dragan_mig31
that will be great if anytime soon appears on the market.but still i am no 48 modeller so I would have to satisfy with whats available in 72.
172flogger
My best guess would be a crappy copy of the Ace/Kangnam/Revell kit, knowing the Kitech brand. Cheers, Andre Kitech is a Hobby Craft kit. Different from the Ace/Kangnam/Revell.
JackMan
found the amodel one for 13 euros wich i think it is very expencive when you include the postage and still you get a crappy kit that needs much work to complete. I believe NKR Models once e-mailed me a response to my enquiry about the single seater A-model kit. The mold for the single seater has been broken/worn out (hence the limited run nature of their kits). Therefore, I don't forsee Amodel re-releasing this kit in the near future. Grab it now while you can. Alternatively, if you know someone who has the single-seater, ask him to make a copy of the forward fuselage & canopy while you buy the cheaper 2-seater ( & which is more easily available). Take the copied single-seater forward fuselage & plug into the 2-seater's fuselage. Amodel followed Hasegawa's tactics & made the 1-seater & 2-seater identical except for the forward fuselages which are interchangeable. (This also explains why the 2-seater fuselage is wrong in the kit. It should be longer like the real thing. Instead they just used the single seater's fuselage & put in the 2-seater's forward fuselage+canopy) Hope that makes sense :D
Indra313
I got one from Hobby Craft a 1/72, it's marked bort no. Yellow 16 from Kiev Aircraft Cruiser. It's my first kit of USSR/Rusia planes. At first, i make it in Vertical mode with lift jets opened, but since survived an accidental thrashing, i changed to normal deck position. I almost had good news for you, we had one of them sitting in the sale bin at the shop I work at on weekends - but good thing I didn't get your hopes up because it's now gone (there were 2, snatched one for myself for $4, and the other was there for about 2 months). Good luck then...
