Jeroen Veen
Well, I really have to start rethinking these projects. It happened with the Tamiya Lanc, with the Monogram Skytrain and now again: these builds take time and patience which I sometimes don't have. This is one of those projects that came to a full stop and took a bit to get it on track again, but here she is: my 1:48 Monogram Prowler (great timing with the Kinetic kit just being released lol). I rescribed the whole fuselage, added the Aires cockpit, removed the tailspine and dome and replaced those with Wolfpack goodies - and they also provided for the wing fold set. Most of the time went into painting her: this is a CAG bird and I wanted to keep her relatively clean because of that, despite the tremendous amount of patches you usually see on these birds- and which I couldn't fully ignore. Thank you all for your kind words and never ending support throughout this project - it helped a lot. Here are some pics of the end result. All comments welcome as usual, happy modelling, Jeroen. JMan
WOW, what a beautiful Prowler! To think that is the Monogram kit. Great job. BTW, are the ejection seats the same they use in Tomcats just with a single pull loop instead of the double loop like on the F-14?? I want one of these.
Darren Roberts
NOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure but I think they're the same, with a single loop. If I'm correct and memory serves me well I think Aires has a set of 4 seats only, in case you're not interested in the whole assemblee! Hope this helps, cheers, Jeroen
Jamie Cheslo
Now that is called making a silk purse out of a sow's ear! Fabulous job, is all I can say. I am currently building the Kinetic kit, and your build has given me even more inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

Helo_Dud
That really is a great Prowler, super paint and weathering. Question, the tail decal...I have the same markings and was wondering how did the go on, any problems. Happy Modeling, Joe
