From Gordo at Sprue Brothers...

1/48 Hasegawa Canadair Sabre 5

1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18C '30th Anniversary Hornet'

Even with the $8.32 I paid in Customs charges it was still WAY cheaper to order these kits thru Gordon than to by them at an LHS.

What a surprise another Sabre ;)

A sizeable order from Squadron (all in 1/72):

A-Model Hawker Hector

A-Model Hawker Osprey

Special Hobby Curtiss Hawk 75 M/N/O

Revell Hawker Fury (re-issue of the Matchbox)

2 Revell Fairy Swordfish (to be cannibalized for their motors and other parts)

Eduard Fokker EIII (bagged)

Will be beginning the Fury, converted to a Persian Fury with a motor from a Swordfish, first, and then the A-Model Osprey.

A great animation by Airfix of a 'build' of this stunning kit!

I've been saving for this since it was announced.

The 1/24th Mosquito.

Picked it up at the LHS. What an amazing kit!

Not without some issues(No kit is) but I am VERY glad to have it.

Seeing pictures is one thing but in real life this kit is something else again.

My hat is off to Airfix.

I ordered the 1/350 Revell USS Wasp from TheModeller.com last Thursday (5/28/10) and it showed up this morning (6/1/10). Not bad from England to the US, with a Holiday weekend involved too. Here is a link to the post on Britmodeller, where I showed the package that my wife missed... :jaw-dropping:

BTW, even with shipping and exchange rate it was about $30-40 less than sprue bros.

The photos.

I got a letter from Age Concern, asking me for a donation to help poor pensioners (I've been a pensioner for nearly 5 years, for Chrissake. :coolio: )
