Aerobat
hi i wasnt aware of a supergaleb kit,who makes one and is it ip,resin, vacform or mixed media..also what scale, thanks Yumo released a 1/72 one in the former Yugoslavia. Super Galeb review It's making a re-appearance apparently. Yumo limited edition The original did not come with the photo-etch. Lift Here decals did a small decal sheet for Letece Zvezde and the kit had a limited release with Letece Zvezde markings. You might find one of these on Ebay or swap meets. Letece Zvezde kit Gary you're probably going to be surprised at the depth of this subject Edited October 22, 2010 by Aerobat
rav_pl
This is my TS-11 Iskra of "Bialo-Czerwone Iskry" ("White-Red Sparks") team from Poland. The kit is Mastercraft 1/72, I did it about 20 years ago and most of the marking is painted with brush (only checkerboard and "5" are decals). Recently the Mastercraft kit is offered in a couple of variants and one of them is aerobatic one. The kit contains decals with thin red stripes, but only straight lines, no curves. Also markings of real aircraft have changed - now they wear different set of bagdes and have additional red area under tail boom (this area is usually "painted" red by smoke during airshows and it didn't look good on all-white boom). The Mastercraft decals do not represent real badges correctly, so they are very disappointing.

AV O
,just curious to know if im just a complete aerobatic team mad man or are there others out thre like me...ha ha ha,thanks Hello, No, you're not the only one. I did not collect every airplane of the teams, but tried built a type of each one used. Some are still in their boxes (Blue Impulse). Here are a few ot them from the Haseagawa set, except the F-16. The Phantom included in the set was the old one at the time and was not used : No decals used except for the stars, lettering, thin edge stripe of the underside design of the F-16, and tail logo of the Talon. More on the next. Edited October 23, 2010 by AV O
