Centennial - So many projects - just enough time to do 'em!

So, its a full year long build - What are you going to tackle? I have a few things I'd like to tackle to pull myself out of my modeling slump. Here's my list

1. F-5F Frankentiger- VFC-111 (gotta be done :D )

2. F4F Wildcat - VF-11 Sun Downers @ Guadalcanal

3. ** Top Secret ** :)

As you can see, these are "simple" builds so I can hopefully have some visible progress to keep me going.

So, what's on your "To Do" List? Can't wait to see what you guys have planned!

1. Hasegawa 1/72 E-2C Hawkeye 2000 - VAW-120

See what else I have time for. If a certain resin manufacturer releases their F/A-18 seamless intakes then will get back to and finish my F-18 prototype in 1/48.

1/48th hasagawa A-7E Corsair II with Aeromaster VA-82 decals.

Maybe another Tomcat or a Helo depending on how detailed i get on the SLUF

Well i just ordered alot of aftermarket for the sluf, so thats on hold until i get it. So i'm gunna pull out the 1/48th Hasegawa Pacific Fleet Tomcat. Will start the thread when i start the kit. Obviously ;)

I have so many I'd like to do - having a hard time deciding! Thought about some VFC-12 Hornets, the 30th anniversary white Hornet, Fallon stuff...decisions, decisions!

I want to join with a 1/48 F-14D VANDY 254 and a 1/48 E-2C VAW-124 for now!!!

For starters, my Planet Models 1/72 BTD-1 Destroyer.

I'll also start a Hasegawa 1/72 short-nose F11F-1 Tiger.

I'll think I'll stick to the more esoteric kits for the year!

1/48 Revell F-14D and 1/48 Monogram OSU-2 Kingfisher. Maybe I'll fit in a AV-8B if time permits.

Going to fit in time to get rid of a stack of Revell F/A-18Es, and maybe a Kinetic Prowler if there's time. 1/48 of course!

Could do a couple 1/32 big scale aggressors as well.

1: I'm about to start a F4u-1 Corsair 1/32 (old Revell kit) *Christmas present for my dad

2: Italeri 1/48 F/A-18F 2 seat Superhornet with an as yet unidentified cockpit set. (thanks to Frankycee)

I'm sure over next year I'll build a few more Navy birds.

I'm in the process of finishing a 1/72nd A-6E for the DS GB.

A model shop on my favourites list has a half price stock sale. Unfortunately, I hadn't visited the site in a long time, and I found out a bit late. But I did manage to get a Hasagawa A-4E/F Skyhawk "VC-1" Limited Edition Series and a Hasagawa F/A-18F Super Hornet "VFA-41 Black Aces CAG" Limited Edition Series. And a day later I read about this GB.

So as soon as the postman drops off of the parcel, I'll be able to join in.

As one of my builds, I was contemplating this scene

but with the main gear already on the deck, as extending the main gear legs would be a real challenge. The nose gear would off still and extended, and wire hooked. That jet is on Two Bobs Shade of Grey Omars sheet, but just to add the 4 on the modex

Wow, Naval aviation is better represented in my stash than I expected. I was going to make a joke to my wife about not having anything to wear for the GB but guess I better keep my trap shut.

I'll start off with some 1/72 yellow wings, then see what kind of mood I'm in after that.

1 to build as many f-18's that i have.

2 to build at least 5 f-14's that i have.

and to finish my blue angels air craft i have.

i will post moreideas for stuff i have when i think of it :P

I'd like to jump in with my 1/48 Revell F-14A Tomcat with VF-1 "Wolfpack" High-vis markings.

I might have more to jump in with. I have a Super Bug in the stash and I plan on getting the S-3B Viking with X-mas money.
