Hornet #2 VF-103 Sluggers 1978 (this is the one I was trying to find out who the CAG was. 1/48th Revell F-4J Phantom #3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 were completed over the last 12 years!! #3 VF-21 Freelancers CVW-14 Blacktailed CAG A/C 1990 USS Independence Desert Shield 1/48th Revell F-14A Tomcat #4 VF-84 Jolly Rogers Revell 1/48th F-14A Tomcat #5 VFA-14 Tophatters Italeri 1/48th Superhornet #6 VF-21 Freelancers A/C 201 I was the Plane Captain on this A/C it was the CO's Plane My Sea Going Squadron, Revell 1/48th Phantom #7 VX-4 Revell 1/48th Phantom Black Bunny #8 VF-126 Bandits My Shore Duty Squadron Revell 1/48th A-4J Skyhawk Thanks Ken for steering me in the right direction on laoded pics!! Tomcat Tweeker Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 Quick build for this one..... Acadamy 1/48th F4U-4B kit down graded to a -4 and decals from the CMK F4U-4 Conversion. Didn't spend a lot of time fixing broken parts.. Mainly the engine wire harness looks pretty bad.. This Acadamy plastic is super brittle.... It was more of a painting excercise for me...
