SrkiRad
Both kits are looking really good Emre! I like the shading effect near the panel lines, and faded camouflages turned out great - maybe yopu could just fade markings a bit, as they are more colourful than camouflages? Regards, Srdjan
EmreEfli
Thanks Darwin! Srdjan, thank you for your observation. I should definitely fade those markings, I'll see what I can do about them tonight. The USAF Spad is nearly complete, while the Navy Spad is waiting for some more weathering and its fuel tanks. EmreEfli
My USAF Spad, the one actually not participating in this group build but giving Close Air Support, is complete. The Navy one will follow shortly, latest Friday I hope.
Neo
BEAUTIFUL you gonna hang a toilet from the navy's version wing? I want to build a skyraider just for that
EmreEfli
Actually Neo, the Hasegawa kit comes armed with two toilets! ;) But no, I'll resist the temptation and only install extra fuel tanks.
EmreEfli
My actual model for this Group Build is also complete. My Navy A-1H Skyraider, proudly presented below. I exaggerated the exhaust stains on the right side and I'm not really sure if the aircraft would fly with all these fuel tanks... but she's done.
SrkiRad
Miss ***** Galore... as dirty as she can be... Great job Emre, this one is also very nice, both regarding to dirty stains, or final look.... Cheers, Srdjan
EmreEfli
Thanks Srdjan, glad you liked them!
kilroy
Very, very nice. This makes me want to build a Skyraider. Now!
dmthamade
Navy Skyraiders are my favorite single prop plane. Yours looks very nice. Are you going to hang any ordnance? ^_^ Don
EmreEfli
Thanks Kilroy and Don! Don, I will not be adding anymore ordnance, mainly because I don't have any left :) I used them all on the USAF one.
Ken Middleton
those came out very nicely! They look larger than 72nd - well done!
C-130CrewChief
I missed the 72nd scale part. Wow! Very good finish on these! My hats off to you! Curt
EmreEfli
Thanks Ken and Curt! With so much positive comments I might actually take a long break from armor models and keep on building aircraft
tempestwulf
Beaut looking Skyraiders. I have three in my stash and the markings for Spad Dad from a Microscale sheet. I took a break from aircraft and build DMLs 1/72 Shermans now back to aicraft.
