xavi84
This is my first commission build and I'm pretty stoked about it. The kit itself is great (just like everything else Tamyia does) and the PE really brings the model to life. I've made a lot more progress since these photos were taken. xavi84
Well, here she is all finished up. This kit was a blast to build and I think I just might start building a few more ships from now on.
J.C. Bahr
Came out pretty sharp! The Indy has always been one of my favorite cruisers from the war, just from an aesthetics stand-point and it sure is too bad her story ended the way it did. BTW - is it just me, or does the seaplane on the catapult seem too big? I thought she was supposed to be a pretty large cruiser, but that seaplane makes her seem small. xavi84
Thanks J.C. And as far as the planes go you're right, they do seem a little out of scale. I didn't notice that until you brought it up. Well, maybe next time I'll look into that a little farther. -Xavier
