Alvis 3.1
Wow...5 hours of frustration and annoyance all done now! I'm glad nobody was home when I was swearing at my Iwata airbrush, Modelmaster Acrylic paints, the water that made it past my water trap, and my own lack of skill. Oh, and that I'll NEVER paint another squiggly camo aircraft ever again! Pics to be posted once I'm finished. Al P.
Jinxter13
Calm........calm..........breeeeeathe....OK that's it...now it's not as bad as all that. A little preparation and caution, Oh and a new moisture trap will make it all good again. You haven't lost the project....It's gonna take just a little longer for completion. DarylH
But that's easy peasy. Just paint the squiggle color first, then put a big pot of spaghetti on the stove and then boil 'til tender and slightly sticky...... :)

TaiidanTomcat
Post pics!! Sorry about the troubles it just happens sometimes. Airbrushing those lines can be a blast when you are "in the zone" don't give them up forever!
Alvis 3.1
Yeah, if I was able to handle enamels I'd have used them, but ever since the large grey cloud of paint, 40 Monogram F-18s and no respirator, inside, in a confined space, I'm not able to deal with enamel paint anymore. Kids, always always use respirators! Al P. Edited December 22, 2010 by Alvis 3.
