Mr.Happy
Oh man what a undertaking. It’ s amazing to see what you sent us via pictures but to grasp the full potential and scope of your body of work would be incredible. I hope you can send us more pictures when possible. JohnEB
Beautiful work. Great detailing. It reminds me of my time at Bentwaters in the late '80s.

I have several Preiser's and like to add such detail aswell. Do you want to share it? It looks like ribbed - corrugated cardboard? There is 5mmx7mm Dia Flexible Corrugated Conduit Tube Pipe Good morning yes it is corrugated cardboard for the packaging. it must be wet to bend it to avoid creases sorry for my late answer … Edited February 7, 2023 by philippe.chauvin
Bar Side
Hi Philippe, I was flicking through your thread again today looking for ideas. How are things going?
philippe.chauvin
I'm fine, the models are being assembled very slowly, it's very hot at the moment!
philippe.chauvin
And you how do you do ?

philippe.chauvin
Hello yes indeed a lot of starting group and an additional R-11. On the aircraft side, some F-4 and F-16 are in production
Bar Side
Another Skunkmodels R-11? It’s a nice kit. I finally built a Spang F-4G and put lights in it (nose wheel, wing tip & tail anti collision beacon) plus a Spang F-16. I am now up to 8 different F-4s and 6 F-16s. Nowhere near as many as you have
philippe.chauvin
I have 7 F-4 of SP on my air base and 7 on the workbench which are coming to an end soon...
Bar Side
That’s quite a task to build! Some of the current Spangdahlem F-16s are over her at Mildenhall on exercises at the moment - quite near me. Haven’t seen any yet, but the Aviano F-16 that were here a year or so ago were fun. JohnEB
Isn't that James Bond in the Lotus with the ski rack? The 2CVs look familiar, my secretary had one. I drove it once...odd. And while fighter pilots love sports cars, you don't see many Ferraris on base. 🙂
philippe.chauvin
hello John Not easy to find civilian vehicles... I actually took some vehicles from the james bond collection! The Ferrari is a wink! 2cv for French air traffic controller in Spangdahlem internship and the Ferrari for a US pilot!
