vince14
Here's my rendition of the Tamiya 1/20 Lotus Honda 99T, as raced by Ayrton Senna in the 1987 Monaco Grand Prix. I'm going to display is with the engine cover on, so the engine bay just has kit parts (I didn't bother detailing it). Some minor surgery was undertaken, mainly the replacement of the front and rear wing endplates with those from a Studio 27 etched set, and appropriate 'Camel' decals came from a Tabu Design sheet. My first model on ARC, so enjoy! Vince

Congrats on a fine example of the marque. Edited December 26, 2010 by Expat Tomcat

smithery
Nice one Vince! I built the same model about a year ago or so. Straight OOB, and even used the kit decals (mine was the older boxing that still included the Camel markings and tire logos. Built and painted old school, as the body was done with a rattle can, and everything else was brush painted.
