Mig-17 1/48 - junkyard

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I wanted to work a bit on some heavy weathering. The idea was to show a fighter in a very bad state in some Polish museum. I'm not satisfied with every part of it but it was a lot of fun to work on.

cheers

Alex

beautiful work. The 4 in the nose jumps at me though. It is absolutely perfect, not even dirty and it's right next to the heavily weathered 35, it just looks odd to me.

Please do post your weathering technique(s), it is very realistic.

I'm about to start the AZmodels Mig-17F on 1/72 scale. I will do a Polish one too.

Do you know any good site with pics of these Polish Migs please ?

Pierre
