AnthonyWan
Small side project for a friend at college. Does anyone do female figures in this this general size? Thanks! -Anthony
SBARC
Hi Anthony, There's a variety of figures available.....but I think the big question is what type of figures you want.....military...civilian etc. For instance....here's a Russian tank crew member....scroll down to the 8th figure..... http://www.miniature-park.com/search_resul...ble=&page=2 or click this link for pic. http://www.miniature-park.com/picwindow.ph...1212&func=s Also M35 out of Frances does WW2 civilian figures.... http://www.mk35.com Or you can buy this set which is a collection of Feamle figure parts....to mix and match http://www.redlancers.com/displaypic.asp?i...=0&search=1 But in the ned there is a massive selection......so you need to decide what type of clothing and wnat time period......that should narrow it down a bit. That site is the most UNHELPFUL sight, don't know who did his website, but they need to make it more user friendly. Besides posting the link and photo of the female figures parts, I tried searching for other 1/32-1/35 scale figures or parts for U.S. WW2 figures, unless you know the manufacturer and what they make, it is hard to search for what one is looking for unless you look at every single link, then search every thing associated with each company on this website. I did a search on 1/35 scale figures, 1/35 scale figure parts, 1/32 scale figures and it came back as no search found, their search engine sucks! I am trying to find figures or parts for figures I am trying to make for my diarama and I am not having any luck at what I am looking for. I got tired of spening an hour looking at each link, with showing other links to select, then go back and select another link and look through all the other links associated with that link, then go back to another link, then go through all the other links associated with that link and so on and so on. I couldn't even find the link where you found the female figure parts figuring there may be listed parts of what what I am looking for.
AnthonyWan
Thanks for the links Steve! I'll definitely look into those..but the set you showed (with all the body parts) seems a bit pricey for my purposes. I need a female IDF ground crew member: Now I'm curious, who makes modern IDF pilots haha or modern "jet" pilots in general. Hmm... -Awan Edited December 31, 2010 by AnthonyWan
SBARC
Hi Anthony.....I wonder if a USAF female figure could be used? Here's a USAF female ground crew figure. http://www.spruebrothers.com/Nexternal/132...igure-32010.htm I also found a USAF female pilot.....but the hairstyle didn't look very reaistic or modern.....and the nose of these pilots figures look more like a guy's nose. Perhaps an RAF pilot? For these figures I searched for 1/32 figures as this is the common scale for large aircraft models.
AnthonyWan
Could definitely probably work something up using that first one. But the other two..whoo..I think I *may* even be able to sculpt a bit better with my rudimentary (at best) skills :)
MKopack
I need a female IDF ground crew member: Judging by your photo, so do I...
