ChernayaAkula
IPMS Deutschland posted the Revell 2011 list. HERE'S for the full listing! New tools: 1/32 Westland Sea Lynx Mk.88/HAS.2 1/72 Airbus A400M Handley Page Halifax Mk.I/II Junkers Ju 88A-4 1/144 F-15E Strike Eagle F/A-18E Super Hornet 1/48 gets a rock! :) Some surprising stuff. The Sea Lynx and Halifax come as a total surprise. And that 1/48 gets zip, apart from the re-release of the Monogram Zipper. Really looking forward to the F-15E, although I would have rather seen it in 1/72.
Antonov
I'm sorry - a 1/72 A400M? Not 1/144? Are you sure?
rm20886
I am really excited about the Halifax. I am several months into a alifax project using a very very old mold. Time to put he brakes on!
B-1 Nut
I'm pretty stoked about a 1/72 A400M! Those look really cool! Be a big boy too in 1/72.....not too much shorter than a B-52.

Steve N
Looks like they're finally putting the old Matchbox Halifax mold out to pasture. Naturally, I prefer the radial-engine version, but that will probably be along eventually. Now the the new B-17G will just hop across The Pond I'd be a happy camper! Kevan Vogler
Nice to see they're dusting off the old Heller 1/72 Vampire molds. That always was a good kit.
pollie
Some nice things in that list, especially in 1/72. They will get more money from me in 2011 than in 2010, that's for sure!
2.0_Alpha
Lots lf nice news. But revell come on, A400m in 72? Why not in 144? And why is there no decent C-130 kit in this world? The Trall is a great kit, would love to see a Herc in the same quality! And most important: WHERE IS THE MIRAGE III/5/50 KIT IN 72??? Please revell, don't let trumpeter screw it up. Thanks revell for the new tools and reissues and Happy new year to all. Tobias

DutyCat
A new tool ST:TOS USS Enterprise????
MiG31
A new tool ST:TOS USS Enterprise???? And a D-7 Battlecruiser. Both listed as 1:600, no less. Companions for Airfix's ship line, perhaps? I hope the A400M scale is in error. I would like to have that one in 1:144. 1:72 is a bit big for me. Not my subject nor scale - but aren't the Amodel kits any good ??? http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AMU14425 http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AMU14437 http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AMU14439 I know Jennings has issues with the 'Roman Nose' variants - but are they that bad ??? mungo1974
The Halifax should sell well... Dare we hope for a new tool 1/72 Short Stirling in 2012/13???
Abakan
Looking forward to the Ju 88A4 ( will it be genuine Revell or the Hasegawa mould? ) and the Ar196 ;)
Scott Hemsley
Nice to see they're dusting off the old Heller 1/72 Vampire molds. That always was a good kit. Don't think that Vampire is the Heller kit. That one was a Mk.V ... the one listed is shown as a Mk.I. Quite a difference in the fin/stailizer arrangement. If it is a Mk.I, that's defenitly a new tool! Scott

waylandcool
I'll be interested to see if they scale up that Strike Eagle to 1/72nd so we can finally have an accurate one in that scale. I'll be buying the 1/144th kit anyway. EDIT: Just saw that the 15E has a from Korea note on it, Downsized Academy mold?? Edited January 3, 2011 by waylandcool
