Whiskey
Hello all, I'm normally a helo guy but I'm trying to piece together the Revell F-14D and was wondering what all extras are out there for it? I'm picking up a set of Modern Hobbies SJU-17 seats and their pilots since I want this 'Cat to be in-flight. I read in a previous build of the kit that Royal Resins makes the exhaust nozzles but I can't find those anywhere. Any suggestions for other parts?
Andre
Eduard have a "Big Ed" set for the RoG Turkey; most other aftermarket sets seem geared towards the Hasegawa kit (but can presumably be wrestled in the RoG kit with perhaps some extra work as well). HTH, Andre
Whiskey
Thanks Andre. I have never been to keen on using PE sets unless its 1/32-35 since I can't stand miniscule parts lol. So no one knows where I can find a new set of 110 nozzles for this baby?
rumbling1
Zach, The company that offers the 1/72 GE cans is Dr. Pepper resins out of Malayasia. They are very nice if you can get your hands on them. Try here: http://drpepperresins.com/
Whiskey
Awesome link rumbling, thanks! Going to pick those up plus the aft console and gun port!
FIGHTS ON
I think (could be my cr*p building of course) that the revell F-14D doesn't sit right - a little too high? If you are building it 'posed' on the cat, try & get the nose wheel leg from a spare Has/Fugm kit as they provide a 'spare', squating down. I stand by to be corrected by other forum users here of course!
