I was trying to rehabilitate my Airfix Mig earlier this week when I snapped the canopy. The local shop was selling them cheap, so I picked up a fresh one.

I have enough hodgepodge decals to build a Polish Lim, so I may do that, or I might do he Korean bird in the box.

I may go Hungarian, but most likely not. I'm still practicing 3-tone camo.

Can't decide, so I'll leave it to the crowd

Looks like Hungarian got the most votes, so Hungarian it is.

I'll be starting probably at the beginning of February, as I've got a project close to finishing, which I want to get off of the bench first.

P-51nut, what are the shape issues?

phew. The last time I updated this thread was on Janauary 25th. Though to be honest, this GB hasn't been as lively as the previous airfix and matchbox builds (what gives folks?)

I made some good progress on the kit over the last few days.

The only changes I made was to add a tail fillet, and modified the big solid HUD by cutting it back to its edges

...and with paint. I decided to build the North Korean version afterall. I used Vallejo colors, I'm not sure I like their shade of sand yellow. No worries though, it is what it is
