Cloggy Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 Here is my 1/72 Mig-29AS, Slovak Air Force 0921 wearing a digital camo scheme. The kit is Airfix, the decals by Kopro. There is always much debate about which is the most accurate Mig-29 in this scale, and Airfix and Italeri always seem to come out tops. Certainly both are a million times better than the Japanese kits in terms of shape, etc, but probably this Airfix kit is the most difficult to get together. Nothing seems to fit properly, so this was a far more difficult build than I had anticipated involving much cutting, trimming, filing and filling - but that's modelling, isn't it? The Kopro decals are excellent - as long as you are very careful with them. If you allow them to twist or fold even in the slightest, then they are doomed and will break very easily. However, with care and patience they bed in brilliantly. The rest is brush painted with basic Humbrol enamels. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
