richter111
Any one else here trying it? It seems faster, cleaner, and somewhat easier to use. Thoughts?

Unit19
Any one else here trying it? It seems faster, cleaner, and somewhat easier to use. That sounds nice. I'm a fan of FireFox, but I've been disappointed with it for the past couple of years. I'll check it out.
spike7451
It's cr@p! I binned Forefox after getting non responsive script messages all the time & nothing I did fixed it so I've been using Opera ever since.Recently upgraded to Opera 11,I'll never go back to FFox,Opera 11 is the mutts nuts!! So much faster that FFox,faster & sleeker too!
Sebastijan
just started using FF4 beta and it works fine... fast as well... Tried Chrome, though it is fast, incompatibility with some pages and the fact that Google's gonna eat us all, keeps me using FireFox
Abakan
What about Netscape Navigator?
richter111
I keep the add ons to a minimum, only one I can think of offhand is the antbar downloader. So for me at least, it runs fast. My son, who was using this old laptop before me, had added so much crap on, I had to spend two hours deleting programs jus to get it running smoothly again. My new laptop is in the shop, I am on a 2003 Dell Inspirion 5100 running XP with 512 MB RAM. Believe it or not, it does the job pretty dang well!
thegoodsgt
I use Firefox 3.0 and have been very happy with it. I tend not to upgrade any software until there's a compelling reason to do so.
ElectroSoldier
The beta uses hardware acceleration for its page rendering? Anybody with a compatable video card give an opinion on it... Hardware acceleration I mean. Is it just me or does it look like the love child of Chrome and Opera? The IE rip off look is out it seems)) Edited January 20, 2011 by ElectroSoldier
Gordon
I use FF3 with no problems at all---PC is a Dell Inspiron, quad processor, 6GB RAM
