CorsairMan Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 Hi Everyone, I am going to be attempting this model in the near future and I am getting some decals done. The pics I have clearly show the main markings. The problem I have are the smaller markings at the back of the fuse, under the canopy and the gear doors. I am looking at the 1982 Reno plane. catfan Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 cant wait to see this and i would like to help corsair man and me a message and i will send copy's of what i have. just remember what ever pictures you see of the aircraft there was only one built. and for trade if the decals you are making in 1/48 scale i would like a set because i also want to built this air craft. the parts list for the real plane is. 1 a F4U-1A fuselage 2 a B-26C cowling 3 a 4360 corncob radial 4 a skyraider prop 5 a P-51 spinier i think hope this helps out Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I checked out the site and got some nice shots of the writing on the gear doors.... but the small black writing on the aft fuselage is still very difficult to make out.
